WHAT’S MY BMI

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a health assessment tool that factors in height and weight, to determine if an individual is underweight, overweight, or a healthy weight. Knowing your BMI is important because excess body weight increases your risk for:

  • Chronic Disease – diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases
  • Arthritis – especially knees
  • Some types of cancer
  • Decreased life expectancy
  • Impaired performance at work

Excess body weight also places increased wear and tear on your muscles, joints and ligaments which can result in chronic pain.

If you are struggling with chronic pain that is keeping you from exercising and getting healthy…  WE CAN HELP!
